A change to Money Monk content, and a favor to ask

Hi Friends,

This week instead of the usual money tips I send, this will be focused on the channel as a whole - with a couple updates and a favor I'm asking. We will be back to normal money tips starting next week!

  • The favor 🙂: I’d love to hear from you! If you have subscribed to the YT channel or the newsletter, I’d love to answer questions you might have about money and wealth on a new video format I’d like to try out where I answer viewer questions. If you have a question, feel free to reply here as your reply will go directly to my e-mail.
  • Update on group training: I am still working on the 6-week group training. I should (finally) have the website for registration done in a few more days. So if you are looking to customize your own wealth-building plan directly with me AND a supportive group then I hope you will consider signing up!

Then the larger update on the channel:

  • Today I shared a channel update because I am not quite happy with the content I’ve been producing lately and wanted to go back to why I made Money Monk originally, which is dedicated to helping working and middle class people get on the path of building wealth. If you’re curious about the update and my focus you can check out the video here: https://youtu.be/7S2Bcn9vNco?si=kzV3KNiN92E9DZRo
  • Where I’ll be going with content going forward is a bit less scripted, maybe more “vlog”-like, and perhaps even more streams. But by raising the discussion of wealth past tactical advice and centering on the mindsets, behaviors, societal pressures, and specific tactics all blended together, I am hoping to provide a more holistic view of money and wealth that helps you be more successful.

Next week I am planning to release two to three videos in this format:

  1. How compound interest fails for most people
  2. What wealth actually is
  3. Five toxic personal finance lessons to avoid

With #1 and #2, my plan is to then get back into the investing series I’ve been working on.

Hope you have a great weekend!

Greg
