Money Monk Terms of Service

Effective date: September 23, 2026.

These terms are between you and Bloom Strategies LLC, a Texas limited liability company operating Money Monk. They cover the Money Monk workbook, its accompanying add-on and the materials included with your purchase. “Money Monk,” “we” and “us” refer to Bloom Strategies LLC. I run Money Monk as a one-person business built to help everyday people organize their finances and build wealth.

Agreeing to these terms

By accepting these terms when purchasing or accessing the product, you agree to follow them. You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you are not, a parent or legal guardian must agree and take responsibility for your use.

Money Monk is offered to customers worldwide where the purchase and use are lawful and supported by Google and Teachable. Access in every country is not guaranteed.

What you are buying

Money Monk brings budgeting, investment tracking, retirement planning, debt payoff and day-to-day personal finance management into a Google Sheets workbook. I built it from my 15 years of personal finance experience.

I chose Google Sheets because it is accessible and flexible, and lets you keep your financial records in your own Google account. The accompanying add-on provides functions such as writing record IDs, importing and exporting supported records, formatting, and optional automatic net worth snapshots.

Your purchase gives you access to the workbook and included materials through Teachable. You need a Google account and must install and authorize the Money Monk add-on to use the functions that depend on it. You copy the workbook into your account; the add-on is installed through Google and maintained centrally.

Personal use and ownership

Each purchase covers personal use by up to two people to share a budget and wealth plan. Additional users need their own purchase. You may not resell the product, distribute it publicly, or share copies for additional people to use without their own purchase.

You may customize your workbook, make backup copies, and move your records to updated Money Monk workbooks you are entitled to receive for those same two users. These copies do not create additional user licenses.

Your financial information belongs to you. Your workbook copy stays in your Google account, where you control its contents and sharing. Money Monk retains ownership of its original workbook design, add-on code and learning materials. Your purchase grants a non-exclusive personal-use license under these terms; it does not transfer copyright or ownership of the add-on's source code or workbook system. Permission to use the workbook copy you received continues unless the license ends as described below. This is separate from ongoing add-on availability.

Payments and refunds

Money Monk is delivered digitally through Teachable. The price, payment schedule and included materials are shown before checkout. Teachable determines the payment methods available to you. Your purchase includes what is described in the offer you accept; it does not automatically include every future product or release.

My policy is not to offer refunds for a change of mind after delivery, except where applicable law or Teachable's applicable terms require otherwise. I have spent thousands of hours building Money Monk, and a digital copy cannot be returned in the same way as a physical product. Please review the demonstrations and product description before buying.

This policy does not remove rights to a refund, repair, replacement or other remedy for a defective, undelivered or misdescribed product where the law provides them. If a statutory cancellation period applies to your purchase, it remains available unless the legal conditions for ending it have been met. Receiving a download does not, by itself, waive those rights.

For purchase questions or refund requests, email support@moneymonk.co with your order details and the issue. Do not send your financial workbook.

Financial tools and your decisions

Money Monk is a planning and educational tool for organizing financial records and exploring calculations and scenarios. It does not provide personalized financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Purchasing the product does not establish an investment-adviser relationship.

You choose your inputs, assumptions and financial decisions. Rebalancing calculations use your own allocation preferences and targets; they apply mathematical calculations to your directions rather than independently select an investment strategy for you.

Calculations, projections, retirement dates and suggested actions depend on the information and assumptions used. They may contain errors or omit circumstances that matter to you. Projections are hypothetical, not predictions or guarantees of investment returns, savings, debt reduction or retirement readiness. Actual results may differ materially. My own experience is not a promise of the results you will achieve.

Do not rely solely on Money Monk when making major financial decisions, including retiring, changing investments, borrowing or withdrawing savings. Verify important inputs and calculations independently against your financial records and, where appropriate, consult a qualified professional who understands your circumstances. Money Monk does not replace statements from your bank or brokerage.

Looking after your account and records

Keep your Google account secure and review who can access your workbook. Each permitted user should protect their own account credentials.

Keep a backup before importing records, resetting the workbook or making major changes. Exports contain supported records and should not be treated as a complete backup of every workbook field or customization. Read the prompts before actions that change or remove information. Changes you make to formulas or the workbook structure may affect how the product works.

Availability, updates and support

I want you to have a workbook you can keep using, rather than feel like a permanent renter of your financial records. Keeping your workbook copy is different from having ongoing access to the add-on, updates or hosted learning materials.

The workbook and add-on depend on Google Sheets and Google's hosting and permission systems. Delivery and hosted materials also depend on Teachable. Your use of those services is governed by their terms. Changes or interruptions to them may affect what works or what remains available.

I hope to improve Money Monk for many years, but I do not promise lifetime updates or support, or delivery of every planned feature. Future development plans may change. This does not remove rights or commitments attached to your purchase.

If we plan to discontinue the add-on or hosted materials, we will give affected customers reasonable advance notice where practicable, so they can preserve their records and copies of materials they are entitled to keep. Urgent security issues, legal requirements or actions by platform providers may prevent advance notice. Discontinuation does not remove any remedy required by law or the purchase agreement.

If the add-on becomes unavailable, your workbook and existing records remain in your Google account, but functions that depend on the add-on may stop working. Discontinuation alone does not end your license to the workbook copy already supplied.

For technical problems, contact support@moneymonk.co. No communications will include personalized financial advice. I cannot guarantee an immediate response or a fix for every issue.

Warranties and limitations

Money Monk is in early access and is still being refined. Formulas and software can contain errors, and outside data sources can be delayed or inaccurate. We do not promise that every calculation will be correct in every situation, that operation will be uninterrupted, or that the product will meet a particular financial goal.

Except for commitments made in the product description, your purchase offer or these terms, and warranties required by law, the product is provided “as is” and “as available.” Where the law permits, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. In plain language, this limits additional implied promises about quality, suitability for a special purpose and third-party intellectual property rights.

These disclaimers do not override the product description or mandatory standards for digital products, including any right to receive a product that matches its description and works as the law requires.

Limitation of liability

This section addresses claims arising from the workbook, add-on and included materials, including claims involving calculation errors, interruptions or lost data.

Where applicable law permits, Bloom Strategies LLC's total liability for claims arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. We also exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses, meaning losses that arise as a further consequence of a problem with the product rather than as its direct result. Whether a particular loss falls within that category depends on the facts and applicable law.

These limits do not apply to fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. They do not reduce mandatory consumer rights or remedies. Where a limit is not legally permitted, that limit does not apply.

Ending access or the license

You may stop using Money Monk at any time, disable automation and revoke the add-on's Google permissions. Stopping use does not automatically delete your workbook or entitle you to a refund.

We may suspend add-on or hosted-material access, or end the product license, for a material breach such as unauthorized distribution or deliberate misuse. Where it is safe and practical, we will explain the problem and give you a reasonable opportunity to correct it first. Immediate action may be necessary to address fraud, a security risk or a legal requirement. These terms do not give us access to delete your workbook remotely.

If a full refund cancels your purchase, or your license is validly terminated for a material breach, you must stop using the licensed product and remove copies of the Money Monk template, code and learning materials you are no longer entitled to use. You may first preserve or export your own financial records. A partial refund or price reduction does not by itself end your license. Mandatory rights and any agreed refund conditions take priority.

Privacy and contact

The Money Monk Add-on Privacy Policy explains the add-on's access to Google data and how it handles information. You control the sharing of your workbook through Google.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Texas law, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. If you are a consumer, this choice does not take away protections you are entitled to under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.

If you have a dispute about your purchase, contact greg@moneymonk.co so we can try to resolve it. This does not limit your legal rights.

Changes to these terms

These terms describe the product and conditions offered with your purchase. If the terms change, the updated version will be published here and material changes will be brought to affected users' attention. Changes will not retroactively remove rights attached to an earlier purchase. Where your agreement is required for a change, we will ask for it.

How this agreement works

These terms, the product description and purchase conditions shown when you buy, and any specific commitments we agree with you in writing form the agreement for your purchase. Specific purchase commitments take priority over general wording here. Nothing in this section excludes liability for misleading statements or removes rights that the law protects.

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue where they can operate lawfully. A delay in enforcing a provision does not mean we permanently give up the right to enforce it.

Provisions about ownership, payment obligations already incurred, permitted retention of your own records, liability and resolving disputes continue after the agreement ends to the extent needed to give them effect. Your continuing license after service discontinuation is governed by the availability section above.
